Missionaries to United States -- Sparks Nevada

May 2026
Dear Pastor and Church,
We are so thankful to God for your fellowship in the Gospel and your faithful prayers and support for us.
We had asked you to pray with us for the Lord to provide a buyer for the Johnsons’ house in Oklahoma. The Lord answered that prayer. Thank you for praying.

In February, we were blessed to have Pastor Bobby Mitchell with us once again. As he ministered, the brethren here were strengthened and encouraged. One day in particular stands out: after the Sunday morning service, we gathered at a rented facility with a pool, where I had the privilege of baptizing my two oldest daughters. Pastor Bobby Mitchell then baptized eight others. It was a wonderful day of rejoicing together in what God has done in the lives of these individuals and in what He is doing as He adds to this body that He is building here for His glory.

We have begun our regular door-to-door evangelism on Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as every other Saturday. Please be in prayer as we go forth in this great work. So far, we have made a good number of personal contacts through these efforts and through our day-to-day evangelism as we encounter people in the regular course of each day. We have seen visitors as a direct result of this—both those we have personally contacted and others the Lord has brought in. Please pray that the Lord would grant us wisdom in ministering to these folk.

Joe and his son John have been attending the Sunday morning service for several weeks now. We long to see people delivered from their sin, reconciled unto God, and serving Him in and through His church here. Please pray that the Lord will give help, strength, and wisdom in preaching. We desire to see lives transformed through receiving and submitting to the preaching of the Word of God.

Please pray for Barbara. I do a Bible study with her each Monday. She is in her 80s and claims to have been a Catholic since she was a girl. She seems to have a hunger for the Truth. Please pray for wisdom and ability to use the Word of God effectively to identify, confront, and tear down the strongholds she has. Pray that she will receive the Truth, understand her lost condition, and repent and believe the Gospel.

We continue to meet in the upper room of the Sparks Heritage Museum, but we are still looking for a permanent meeting location. Please continue to pray that the Lord will open this door according to His purpose.

Please continue to “pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.”
