Lott -- Missionaries to Peru

April 2026

The "Other" Lotts Return

We praise the Lord for the safe arrival of our son, Jonathan, and his family after their furlough. Since the passing of my father last year, the “other” Lott family has been visiting churches and finishing up a long process of Rocio getting her U.S. citizenship completed.

On Thursday, March 26th, Rocio was sworn in as a United States citizen. The long process of legal
citizenship has paid off and now Rocio can travel freely to the U.S. with the whole family from now on.

It all happened “at the last moment” (including a week after the family was scheduled to leave for Peru), but God’s timing is always best and everything fell into place in such a beautiful way. What a blessing and huge answer to prayer. Thank you all who have prayed for this request!

Bible College Starts
After more than 2 years of reconstruction, on March 31st, the bridge that crosses the river going to the Bible College property was inaugurated for public use. Once again it was “perfect timing” for the
college students to be able to work during this school year and for the upcoming construction on that property! Praise the Lord for this blessing! Also pray for the first stages of construction of the Bible college facilities that will begin this year.

January and February are vacation time in Peru due to the heavy rainy season during that time. Our school year was delayed further due to several factors, including Easter week and national elections that were held on April 12th. This week we started our first modules for this school year with 15 students registered here in San Ramon and several others taking classes online.

A Gospel Tract in every home

Last year we began a project to place a Gospel tract in every home in San Ramon and the surrounding communities. The estimated population of San Ramon is about 25,000 people. We divided the town into several sections for easy reference and began placing tracts in every
home we could. We also are taking advantage of every opportunity to personally share the
Gospel with people on the streets. Our primary objective is to give every home an opportunity to know about God’s great salvation.

To date we have covered about two thirds of San Ramon with Gospel literature and invitations to our church (yellow area on the map). While the response has been minimal so far, we continue to pray that the Lord’s Word will not return void. Pray with us for the salvation of souls in this effort
that is ongoing!

Thank you for your prayers for us and the ministry here!

January 2026

For a good while now, a couple has been attending the church here in San Ramón; they even expressed a desire to be members of the church. They both had a good testimony of salvation, but the churches where they were baptized were not churches with sound doctrine, so we told them they would need to be bíblically baptized in order to become members of the church. The wife was fairly willing but her husband was very opposed to the idea.

They continued to attend the services and we continued to explain to them the reasons and doctrinal differences. In November, Bro. Fredy Figueroa and his wife, Jannet, told me that they wanted to be
baptized and to become members of the church! Praise the Lord for their decision to submit to the
Lord’s will for their lives!

The first two weeks of December, Beth and I made a quick trip to the States for a very special event: Our son, Tim Lott, graduated with a doctorate degree as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist) from the University of Tennessee. In addition, Tim also received the Thomas Brett
Hill Nurse Anesthesia Service Award for outstanding service to his country (Air Force), his university (student representative in Washington, D.C.) and his community (search and rescue volunteer). As with all of our children, we are very proud of Timothy’s accomplishments and his continued service to the Lord in his local church. Congratulations, Tim!

We also got to have all the family together in one place for the first time in several years. We took advantage and had family pictures taken! We thank each one of you for your efforts to make this possible and a very enjoyable time!

Praise the Lord that the construction on the “Victoria Bridge” is coming along. Because of rainy season
beginning, the provisional foot bridge that we and others used to cross the river during construction was washed away! Pray that the new bridge will be finished as soon as possible.

I have also been discipling a young man for a while. Due to travels and schedule conflicts it has taken more time than normal, but Ezra Berry finally finished our discipleship classes. Keep your eyes on the Lord, Ezra!
